We at Brimstone Books knows producing a book can be difficult. Sometimes you want to publish a book, but don’t have the time, energy or skills to do everything on your own. If you’re looking to indie publish your own work, but need some help getting to that point, we might be able to lend a hand.
Please note: We’re not a vanity press. We don’t publish others’ books. We only offer services to make it easier for indie authors to publish their own works.
Formatting Services
If you’re looking for someone to design the interior layout of your book (eBook, paperback or both), look no further than here. We have three types of packages that can get you what you’re looking for in a timely manner, depending on your desires and your budget. We offer the following packages to satisfy your formatting needs:
Basic Package
Our basic package is $25.00 USD. We will provide eBook and paperback files that are ready to be uploaded to KDP as well as other publishing services. We use preset graphics for chapter headings and scene breaks and provide simple, easy-to-read formatting.
Silver Package
The silver package costs $60.00 USD. Again, eBook and paperback files that are ready to upload to KDP and other publishing services are provided. We create simple custom graphics for chapter headings and scene breaks while still providing easy-to-read formatting.
Gold Package
Looking for something more detailed? Our gold package starts at $100.00 USD. Paperback and eBook files ready to be uploaded to KDP and other publishing services are provided. Detailed custom graphics for chapter headings and scene breaks are created and used while still providing easy-to-read formatting. Price varies depending on the amount of custom work being created for the book.

Formatting Services
Brimstone Books also offers other freelance services that may or may not fall into the scope of publishing a book including: proofreading, transcription, and video editing.
Proofreading
Everyone hates typos. If you’re almost ready to publish but want one final set of eyes on your work to catch all those little mistakes you’ve missed after reading the same story fifty million times, look no further. We at Brimstone Books look for grammar mistakes and punctuation errors while also checking on word choice and style matching. Services cost $0.0013 per word. For example, a 50,000-word story would cost $65.00 USD to proofread.
Transcription
Are you looking to transcribe your work from audio to text? We can provide textual files based on audio clips provided. Costs vary depending on the length of the audio:
- $1.50 USD per audio minute up to five hours
- $1.25 USD per audio minute for five hours or more
Video Editing
Are you interested in making videos, but don’t like the process of making them? We provide video-related services including editing video footage, creating transitions between clips, and adding overlay graphics. We can create a thumbnail graphic for your videos as well. This service costs $45.00 USD per hour.
Audiobook Narration
This service is not available at this time, but will be in the future. Check back spring 2027 to learn more about this service.
