Welcome to the first official post for Brimstone Books, a small indie publishing company that publishes all the books Skye writes under various pen names. We’re still working on updating and creating pages including a store where you can buy copies of books, so please bear with us as we continue making changes moving forward.

What can you expect to find here?

Brimstone Books is dedicated to publishing the books Skye writes under four pen names including:

S.D. Hegyes

This is the pen name Skye uses to write fantasy (all sub-genres) that are novella or novel length. There are currently four titles published under this name, listed on the BOOKS page of the site with more coming soon. Her newest release, Puck’s Choice, is the first in a series called Shifters & Mages following modern-day witches and their familiars.

Kota Hegyes

Skye writes short paranormal romance stories under this name. Quick, fast reads with either sickly sweet or super spicy relationships between paranormal creatures and humans. All stories will have mention of their heat rating on the cover as well as in the description. She’s debuting Presumed Dead, the first in the Sultry Solstices series, 23 June 2026, and each story in the series will come out two weeks after the previous.

Skye D. Hegyes

Do you like writing prompt books? Skye tends to put up writing prompts while streaming on her channel, and now you’ll be able to read a collection of writing prompts starting 3 November 2026 when What’s Your Story? comes out. She’s already in the works of collecting more prompts to start the next book.

Isabeau Hawke

This is the pen name Skye currently uses with an anonymous co-author. Her partner comes up with the ideas and outlines the stories, and then Skye writes them. The stories are new adult contemporary romance with a magical twist following the red string of fate theory.

Stay tuned for anthology opportunities as well. Starting in 2027, Brimstone Books will be opening up applications for charity anthologies, where all proceeds will be donated to a single charity per book.
